International Women’s Day: Give to Gain
In every workshop I run — whether in schools, organisations, or NGOs — I see the same truth: mothers give. They give patience, guidance, and love that fuels their children’s growth.
This giving is not new. Long before we new words like empowerment and resilience, women have quietly embodied the spirit of giving. Their generosity has never been a loss; it has been intentional multiplication — of compassion, strength, and wisdom across generations.
That’s why when we — as everyday people, educators, or employers — give mothers support, a listening ear, practical tools and recognition, their ability to give multiplies. Their stresses ease, their confidence grows, and their ability to be their best selves becomes possible.
On #InternationalWomensDay and beyond, let’s remember: giving to moms is an investment in the future. Because when mothers gain, families gain, and communities gain with them.
Here’s to the mothers — the quiet architects of love and growth.
